If you are having trouble getting revved up after the big Independence Day holiday, Ford Performance has just the cure for what ails you. How about a video detailing the features of the 2017 Shelby GT350 as three examples tear up the asphalt? Sounds like a good way to get your blood pumping.

The video begins with a quote from the man himself, Carroll Shelby: “These cars were meant to be driven.”

From there, it goes on to show just how these car were meant to be driven. The sounds of a flat-plane-crank Voodoo 5.2-liter V8 revving and roaring through an active exhaust are accented by the squealing of high-performance Michelin tires and as the video ends, you are left wanting more, in which case we tracked down the director’s cut of the video…
