In case you haven’t had a chance to read our coverage yet, Holley Performance recently held its 10th annual Hot Rod Reunion. An amazing gathering of gearheads unlike any other, but don’t take our word for it; Holley sent some cameras out into the show to find and talk to some veteran reunion goers, asking them what it was that brings them back year after year.

For Jim McCrady, a Holley employee who has been five times now, the trip is about camping, people, and most importantly, the cars, as this latest web video from Holley TV shows.

Camping, he explains, gives you a chance to see, hear, and even feel all these amazing cars parked around you. The camp grounds are where its at, according to McCrady, and who are we to argue? Lots of horsepower and gearheads camping out sure sounds like a good time to us.

Of course McCrady didn’t come empty handed; he built his ‘41 Ford sedan with his own two hands. McCrady built his supercharged sedan for long-hauling, with two transmission coolers, an oil cooler, and an extra-wide radiator. He drives his sedan, which he has owned for five years, nearly every day. It’s a cool car, and McCrady goes on to tell how he found this sedan out in a field after stopping to buy some fresh eggs. Stick around long enough and you’ll find out why the video is named “No More Mister Nice Guy”.

It’s a cool story and a cool car, and hopefully we’ll get a chance to check the show out for ourselves, and maybe see McCrady and his car now.
