How’s this sound for a job description? Get in a car, drive around the United States, and meet owners and rides on their own turf to talk all about their history, specs, and maybe do some burnouts in between. We can’t think of many who wouldn’t readily quit whatever it is they’re doing and jump on this opportunity.
That’s exactly what Eric Saltrick did. Though a family man and vice president of marketing for Steele Rubber Products by day, in his off time, the man is nothing if not a big supporter of all things V8-powered and eye-catching.
Awaiting its launch on the MAVTV network, the reality show, entitled “Dream Ridez” is promising to deliver on its title. Saltrick made his way around the nation from October to December of 2014, making stops at such events as Shades Of The Past in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; OPG Classic Car Show in Seal Beach, California; and Goodguys Nashville Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee.

“It’s taken years to finally have a network let me tell the stories of REAL car guys and real hot rodders, not the fake stuff on TV right now,” said Saltrick. “I’m showing off the folks I think are rock stars in the industry.”
So get those markers and calendars ready, set the DVR, and sit back to enjoy a show that’s sure to be entertaining, educational, and enjoyable. Dream Ridez is set to air on Sunday, February 1st, at 8:00 a.m. EST, with an encore at 11:00 a.m. EST.
