The media machine-mobile, Hoonicorn V2, has gained so much notoriety over the years, it can’t go anywhere without gaining quite a bit of attention. Now people are wondering if there is a Motor City Gymkhana in the works, because Ken Block and his 1,400-horsepower Hoonicorn have been terrorizing Detroit over the last few days, and everyone is wondering why.
It has been made clear that the footage they are shooting is for the the Ford Motor Company. Ford Performance is on of the main sponsors for many of Block’s video, which makes sense since Block is a factory Ford driver. The spotters have noted that the car is covered in Forza Horizon decals, so the filming could be related to the new Horizon game.
The recent Gymkhana videos have been filmed in Buffalo, Dubai, and Los Angeles — with the most recent one, Climbkhana, being filmed while Block drifted up Pikes Peak.
