When it comes to a new project car, Farmtruck and AZN seem to love nothing more than creating a new nitrous fed machine. As the cover is pulled back, the guys introduce their latest creation, the Farmbird. Farmbird started life as an average 1976 Pontiac Firebird, but once in the hands of the Mad Scientist, Farmtruck, and AZN, its destiny was forever changed.

It is hard to say if anyone has ever added a camper shell to a ’76 Firebird, but it has been perfected by the guys during the build process. This Pontiac is painted Farmtruck orange and features many of the same stylistic elements as its namesake. However, this conglomeration is not just a trailer queen, this Firebird should haul some feed, hay, or whatever a Farmbird might haul thanks to healthy dose of nitrous oxide.

Just like their “redneck centrifuge,” the Farmbird was treated to some performance upgrades with the addition of a two stage Nitrous Express system. Not to say that the Firebird was underpowered with a 455 CID Pontiac engine that generates approximately 500-horsepower without the gas.

With all of that horsepower, there were a few safety needs that had to be addressed; so they enlisted the help of Jeff Lutz to build a chrome moly roll cage for the latest in the farm fleet. As for the aerodynamics, AZN located a camper shell to give it that authentic farm fresh feeling. Of course the guys upgraded the wheels, tires, interior, and brakes to make certain this bird was ready to fly.
