The guys at Brenspeed are already hard at work developing parts and packages for the all new 2015 Mustang. The company recently picked up what is sure to be one of several development Mustangs that they’ll be outfitting with various packages for testing over the next few years.
Before they started tearing apart this brand new 2015 GT, equipped with the Performance Pack, Brenspeed owner, Brent White, took a few minutes to give his first impressions of the car. White outlines his thoughts on what’s cool, what might be a little gimmicky, and what should be addressed immediately. The video is a worthwhile honest review from someone who’s an expert on high performance Mustangs of every caliber.
There are two main issues for White which he says the Brenspeed crew will be working on immediately. The first is the sound of the GT. White admits that this car won’t wear you out on a road trip in stock trim, but he prefers a little more aggressive exhaust tone in his daily driver. He says Brenspeed already has exhaust systems in stock, and this car will be getting one right after the video.
The second issue is wheel hop. This is prevalent on the dry pavement, and demonstrated a few times in the video. Wheel hop is bad, simply put, over time wheel hop will lead to broken parts. While Ford looks to have done a lot to reduce wheel hop in the all new IRS system that adorns the rear of the S550 Mustang, Brenspeed will be working on a solution to reduce that hop to zero.
There’s more to the video, and we know Brenspeed will be putting in their usual time and attention to detail to develop incredible performance packages and parts to suit every enthusiast’s tastes.
