What’s better than lots of muscle, burning rubber and the latest and greatest performance products available? If you said nothing, this video from Hedman Hedders is for you. Found on Hedman’s Facebook fan page, this video highlights some of the killer cars, speed-crunching runs, and of course, the latest Hedman products on display at the 2012 NMCA West Coast event held at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, California, in the middle of August. Whether you’re looking for 10-second Chevelles, Hedman boasting Mopars or just some good old drag racing action, this video is definitely worth a look.
Taking place from August 17th through the 19th at Auto Club Raceway, the NMCA West Coast Street Car Series mid-season event was just one of four great NMCA West events that pinned street rods, muscle cars and all kinds of performance machines against one another in ultimate showdown fashion last Fall.
Of course, with an ultimate showdown taking place, you don’t usually have to look very far for the supporting performance companies, and at the August event, Hedman Hedders was front and center.
Displaying their latest products for customers, fans and nay-sayers, Hedman made an impact on performance enthusiasts at the event, but it wasn’t just their display that had Hedman on the minds of many race fans.
Among the cars competing in the event were many Hedman-equipped performance vehicles, including 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger “Voodoo Child” owned by Steven Twilligear, which runs consistent 9.70-second quarter miles, and a 1969 Chevelle owned by Gary Rohan, running 11.7-second quarter miles. Hedman also represented with their own Hedman Hedders Nostalgic Street Car Class at the event, crowning Mike Nordahl the Wally winner for the class.
If you’re looking for the ultimate products to use on your vehicle, whether you’re looking for something for strictly street use or something a bit more track-involved, nothing showcases a product’s potential better than results on and off the track. With testimonials from racers of all walks of life and performance car choices, Hedman Hedders is certainly worth entertaining for your next header purchase. After all, if you’re going to go big, you need a company that’s on the same page, and Hedman is definitely right there with you.
