QA1 announced front suspension systems for ’73-’87 C10’s last year, and since they’ve seen a rise in popularity, decided to expand the platforms offerings to include a full rear suspension system.

With both the front and rear systems in use, C10s are completely brought to 2019’s standards – allowing you to lower all four corners and have four to seven inches of ride height adjustability, so you can finally get your ride sitting exactly how you want it. Further adjustability allows customers to tailor the system to their desired handling specs.

The rear system consists of five individual components: the panhard bar, torque arm, trailing arms, bracket mounts, and shocks. They all offer some sort of adjustability, but operate independently, making them borderline fool-proof.

Both QA1’s front and rear systems use their famous shocks, with the choice between their double or single adjustable units.

Per the press release, “Each component is designed to perform one function. This provides superior control over suspension movement, resulting in a smooth ride and great handling characteristics.”

The all new torque arm system was engineered from scratch to maximize the square body pickup’s performance without the inherent binding issues found with other four link systems. Its innovative design saves weights, adds strength, and improves stability and handling–all without removing the truck’s bed.

Complement these systems with sway bars, which are available for both front and rear, to even further improve stability on corners and curves.

“If you didn’t know better, you would never know you were driving a vehicle with a bed on it,” said Damien Brase, QA1 Fitment Technician and owner of a 1983 C10. “The ride quality and handling is nothing like what you would expect from a pickup. I never would have guessed it could handle as well as it does now.”
