HotRodDirtys is a consignment business that sells “the coolest hot rods, trucks, and kustoms on the planet.” A bold statement that the company definitely upholds, case and point being “Royal Crown,” a kustom ’51 Fleetline that recently went up for auction on eBay. According to the seller this Fleetline features a $20k interior job, $20k paint job, full custom air ride suspension, and vintage AC & heating.

This Street Rodder Top 100 Car is a prime example of fine workmanship–featuring a three inch chop, metal flake root beer scallops, a 1959 Impala dash and gauge cluster, a chopped ’59 Chevy steering wheel, and frenched head and taillights.

The drivetrain is the culmination of reliability for hot rods and kustoms in the modern age. “A newer 350ci crate small-block Chevy, 700R4 transmission, power steering, and power disc brakes” don’t skimp on safety. While some may argue the diluted use of the 350ci and 700R4 combo there is something to be said about the concept of tried and true as well.

The suspension is composed of four corner air springs, a Fat Man front end, tubular upper and lower control arms, and a Chevy rearend with with a four link. 15-inch Intro Custom wheels wrapped in wide whitewall tires set off the traditional kustom look.

According to the, now expired, listing on eBay the car closed at $37,843. With only 2,000 miles on the odometer, this Fleetline is sure to offer years of fun and memories to its new owner.
