Because Big Muscle’s second season just ended last week, we might have to wait a little while before we see any new muscle hitting the airways on YouTube. So instead of just sulking around, we decided to do some exploring on the topic and found ourselves a great Big Muscle episode from June of 2012 we’d never seen before. While we’re sure some of you have seen it, we wanted to share this heavy hitter-filled episode with those of you who missed it like we did. After all, you can’t ever have too much muscle in your life.
Aired on June 21st of last year, this episode of Big Muscle is second half of the two-part finale for season one. While we covered the roaring Chevelle SS that host Mike Musto drove in part one, the 1967 Buick GS 400 and 1969 Dodge Charger in part two are well worth the look back.
Heading to Queens, New York, for the Big Muscle Season 1 finale, Musto found himself face to face with two remarkable cars.
First up was George Papadopoulos’ ‘67 Buick GS- a gorgeous classic with a 455ci engine bored over and stroked to a 494ci powerhouse built by Scotty’s Racing Engines of Spring Hill, Florida. Equipped with Stage 2 heads and plenty of chrome, this engine is capable of producing 630hp and 640lb-ft of torque.
Whether it's luxury or power you're after, this classic Buick has plenty to offer.
From the engine to the interior, this classic Charger features many modern amenities that rival modern production vehicles.
Whether you’re into Mopars or GMs, or some of each, these two cars are sure to impress. Not the idea of perfect muscle cars for everyone, these two cars certainly show what can be done with classic muscle to create one-of-a-kind vehicles for every kind of enthusiast out there.
