San Diego is known for its fair weather and laid-back atmosphere, but like in all other areas with crazy drivers, incidents of Road Rage can easily be found. Case in point, this dangerous event that occurred in full view of another driver who happened to have a dash cam in operation at the time.
This video posted on YouTube and also on news outlets in Southern California shows a Toyota Tacoma pick-up swerving into a Volkswagon Jetta. As the two vehicles collided and slid into a guardrail, the Tacoma flipped on its side. Luckily, no one suffered major injuries. The driver of the pick-up was treated for minor cuts, bruises and abrasions while the Jetta’s driver was treated for back pain.
We’ve all been provoked to anger at one time or another when behind the wheel. For most of us, it has only resulted in the use of creative and colorful speech and internationally understood sign language. However, a growing number of these types of incidents that have escalated to dangerous levels often with catastrophic and criminal consequences.
We’re pretty sure that these two drivers did not start their mornings with this event in their plans. Chances are these individuals are basically nice people under normal circumstances. However, we all know from experience that just a small gesture or a couple of one syllable words can change the situation dramatically!
