Englishman Andy Frost is no stranger to the cyber pages of Dragzine as his drag racing and street cruising exploits have hit this ad other digital magazines for several years now. Our philosophy is that a street legal Pro Mod is newsworthy and, honestly, way cool no matter what continent! And that has kept us extremely interested in Andy and his project.

Frost, from Wolverhampton, England, who, in addition to being an automotive mechanic and enthusiast of fast speeds, holds an incredible number of drag racing records and is known by many accounts and news sources as having the quickest street legal car in the world. So, what better way for a driver to show appreciation to his fans than to make the local rounds? This video proves that Frost’s ’72 Vauxhall is more than just a race car that can be driven a block or two. Once you get past the fact that everyone is driving on the wrong side of the road, you can see Frost’s car maneuvering its way through the lush landscape and unique scenery—all seen through the windshield of a car producing in excess of 2,000 horsepower and capable of running the quarter mile well over 200 mph. The destination shows the wild Pro Street/Pro Modified rumbling up the drive of the dazzling McLaren building. 

This impressive view is different from those familiar with Frost and his typical runs with his Red Victor 3 Pro Street Machine. The ‘72 Vauxhall has a twin turbo-charged 540 cubic inch engine and runs mid-6-second quarter mile times at speeds in the 220 mph range. When we were first tipped to Andy’s project, his car was under construction and he was confident that he was building the quickest street car on the planet–and he was right. Critics have tried to question the true street-ability of Frost’s fierce machine, but he continues to release videos that document how at home the Pro Street monster is on the open road.
