Old school pickups bear an aura that hasn’t been matched for years. Posted on RK Motors, the brilliant team at RK has done it again with a 1948 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck.

Doused in silky PPG cool vanilla paint, this 3100 pickup is a mix of vintage aesthetics with modern technology. Packed under the hood is a General Motors LS1 5.7-liter V8 engine, Hooker headers and a slew of polished performance parts.

A winner of several national awards, this 3100 pickup truck will also include all of its honors with the sale. A few of these awards include Best Truck at the 2013 International Show Car Association (ISCA), 2013 ISCA International Class Champion, and Fantastic “5” Award at the 2014 ISCA World of Wheels show in Birmingham, Alabama.

The power from the strong LS1 motor meets the pavement thanks to a GM 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, the 3100 has a four wheel power disc brake system, a Fatman Fabrications chassis, all the while preserving the original body, making only light modifications to it.

A true show stopper, the 3100 also has a touch of detail with meticulous gold pin striping. With all the panels straight and massaged to perfection, where can you go wrong as this pickup is ready to hit the road.

The staggered 17 and 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels are tucked graciously under the sizable 3100 fenders. A set of QA1 coilovers keep the 3100 low to the ground, but are adjustable to any suitable height the future owner will find pleasing.

A Dynomax dual exhaust leads out back, giving the 3100 a nice aggressive tone to complement its great looks. As great as the exterior is, the custom interior is just as pristine with its saddle brown color tones and leather seats.
