Youtuber sbc350 is someone that, as you can imagine, is always good for a video or two that will get your mouth watering. Take one of his videos from late last year for instance, titled “Lahti Cruising Season 2015 Wrap Up.” As the title suggests, it’s a compilation video from cruising events he attended around Lahti, a municipality in Finland.
His videos are proof that America doesn’t have the monopoly on cruising with awesome classic American cars and trucks. They also prove that in Finland, cruising and car shows are a much more refined occasion with sparks of outrageousness at the end of the day.
Drive-by, Lahti, Finland style. From wild to mild, Lahti, Finland's cruise season had it all.
The video shows cars numerous classic musclecars, as well as a little bit of modern muscle. We see rat rods, Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers, coupes, sedans, convertibles, and even a couple of hot station wagons. There’s even an Opel Kadette thrown in the mix for good measure.
Ahhh, nothing gets the juices flowing like the smell of burning rubber in the early evening.
Something that few American car shows and cruises have are burnout exhibitions. Sure, there are some bigger events like the Carlisle GM Nationals have burnout competitions, but they are more the exception than the rule. Sadly, with all the accidents and damage that a few knuckleheads have caused, burnouts are discouraged in our country. In Finland, they seem to love them.
Channeling his inner Jon Reep, this guy proclaims his engine on his rocker panels.
