This Hemi Charger was spotted recently at the Forssa Pick-Nick near Helsinki, Finland, by one of our YouTube friends Jamboolio. Looking at it one can tell the restorer (not the current owner) put lots of loving attention into the restoration. The interior received updated competition gauges and sport seats for more stability and support while driving. With 605 cubes of Hemi putting out almost 740 horses, the driver’s definitely going to need that added stability.
The previous owner had plans to supercharge this beast, can you believe it? Word on the street has it that it will already break loose in third gear! The car itself is a 1973 Dodge Charger SE, with opera windows. It looks like it might also have the “Brougham” option.
As previously stated, under the hood is a fire-breathing 605 cubic inch HEMI monster, all decked out with braided lines and aluminum fittings. Topping the aftermarket high-rise manifold with equal length runner is a Holley double-pumper filtered by K&N with the XStream filter on top. Rolling stock consists of 20 inch ZE Forged Friction wheels that perfectly complement the rest of the exterior.
Fully functional hood scoop.
The restorer passed away before he got to complete his project, but the car’s still in good hands: it’s now owned by an expert drag racer. Want more of this HEMI Charger? We can’t get enough, either.
