The 2013 Mustang is now being spotted out and about all over the place but not many people have seen the brand new ’13 Shelby GT500 as of yet. However, the brand new Shelby’s are making their way around and Evolution Performance, Inc.has their hands on one and have already put on a couple mods. Not only did they install a few things, they brought it out to the track to see what time it could put down.
Evolution Performance brought their new Shelby to the Carlisle Nationals and ran the new beast at the track. According to their Facebook page, photos and video, it appears to have long tubes and slicks helping it haul ass down the strip. Additionally, the car also has a full suspension setup, k-member control arms, anti-roll bar, adjustable struts and shocks, drag brakes, a tune and 4.10 gears. This thing is a beast and ran 10.02 at 141 mph in the quarter mile! Can’t wait to see this thing run in the 9’s!
After putting down quite an impressive time at 10.02 seconds at the track, it should have some Chevy owners nervous. The ’13 GT500 has 662 hp straight from the factory making it already a beast to be reckoned with. After adding more modifications, you’re toying with a monster. You have got to love that Grabber Blue racing appearance package as well! Yes, please!
