Although it happened over a month ago, Paul Walker’s death still brings tears to our eyes. As more and more details from the crash and autopsies of both Walker and his friend Roger Rodas are released, it’s more questions that are brought up rather than answers. But aside from the questions of Walker’s untimely departure from this world, one thing seems to be on everyone’s mind – what will happen to the Fast & Furious franchise and how will Walker’s death affect the latest movie in the series, Fast & Furious 7?
Well, according to a post on Vin Diesel’s Facebook page, Fast & Furious 7 will go on with an official release date of April 10th, 2015.

Accompanying the announcement, Diesel posted a picture of the last scene he and Walker filmed for the seventh film in the Fast & Furious series, stating, “The last scene we filmed together…”
“There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…”
Diesel also noted that, “He’d want you to know first,” alluding to Walker’s passion of keeping his fans close and informed.
Walker died on November 30th after the Porsche GT he was riding in, driven by Rodas, crashed into a tree and then into a pole in Southern California, where both were attending a charity event for Walker’s Reach Out WorldWide organization.
Shortly after impact, the car burst into flames, making it impossible for those immediately on the scene to pull Walker or Rodas from the vehicle.
Autopsy reports recently released blame traumatic injuries from the crash for both men’s deaths, as well as thermal injuries in Walker’s case.

In documents just released on January 3rd, it is explained that the Porsche GT was going in excess of 100mph when it crashed and that Walker’s body was found in a “pugilistic stance” as if he were bracing himself for the impact. Thermal injuries to both men following the crash caused neither man’s organs to be viable for organ donation.

Since Walker’s death, there has been a fury of talk, from the rumor mill generating ideas of stars like Justin Beiber standing in for Walker in Fast & Furious 7, to an undeniably cruel blog post talking about the reasons why Walker’s death was “a blessing” to an ungrateful and seemingly heartless female focused on herself rather than the tragic Hollywood death.
Unfortunately, where there is mourning and sadness, their will always be careless and selfish responses with only self-attention as a justification.
But like Walker’s many fans, we’ve opted not to give the people aiming for their own attention, or worse, trying to profit off of Walker’s death through graphic photographs of the crash scene, any attention. We will not link to any negative feedback on Walker’s death or oblige anyone looking to secure their own fate via this tragedy.

What we want to express is our deepest sorrow that the world lost an amazing person, on and off screen, one that this girl not only loved in the Fast & Furious movies, but idolized as far as his efforts to help underprivileged and disaster-ridden areas went.
We are also happy to announce that Walker’s character will presumably be given the send-off he deserves in Fast & Furious 7, which is currently undergoing a re-write to phase Walker’s character out tastefully.
According to the Huffington Post, Walker’s character is set to be retired in the Fast & Furious 7 film rather than killed off. There are also rumors that Walker’s younger brother, Cody Walker, who has film stunt experience has been offered a fill-in position for Walker’s final scenes to help tie up his character. But while nothing is certain yet, we can all rest soundly knowing that Walker’s final film work will be used and showcased for all of his fans to enjoy coming in 2015!

“There was always moments of child-like laughter…
We had accomplished so much by 2013…
P.s. The complexities of Brotherhood, and the painful void… of it’s absence.” – Vin Diesel
